The statistics were recent results. Where I come from they are the only thing that matter in football

Natasha, you have said in this very thread when I asked you what points tally or league position will be acceptable to you, that you won't answer because all you ask for is heart an passion. So which is it, and will you now answer my question?

Seriously, please stop labouring the point. I've said what I personally want from the team.

And if you think managers aren't judged on results, then there's very little I can say that will change your mind as you are clearly crazy.

Oh, I know they are judged on results. Which is why, when people want us to sack the manager, I'm curious to know what results they are expecting this season. I suspect you won't commit to a target for the season because you either have unrealistic expectations or you will be anti-Coyle no matter how well he does.

I'm only raising the point again because in your effort to criticise Coyle at every opportunity, you have contradicted yourself. It's there in black and white!

It's the sort of question you normally expect from a neutral fan. " Right, you're little Bolton, where do you realistically expect to finish? "

Walking away from the Reebok last weekend it wasn't a question being asked by any passionate fan.

For me i expected a small improvement on last season; better away from home; bit more progress in the passing game and to see the back of the lumpers like Knight.

finish between 8th and 13th.

then the fixtures were released expectations down slightly.

Before the first match I suppose I was hoping to see an improvement on the rubbish we'd witnessed the previous few months, a bit more fighting spirit in the team especially against the big boys and generally a team that made itself much more difficult to beat.

We seem to have carried on from where we left off so more me it's more of a fingers crossed rather than a blind faith thing.

You will soon realise quizing her on Bolton is pointless because she shits on everything and always looks for the negatives to get a reaction.  I am pleased to have somebody with a more positive outlook posting on here though and I am at least not alone in this over the top reaction to Owen Coyle.

People soon forget how well we started last season as if our recent form proves that we are incapable of ever winning a league game again.

I don't remember referring to us as "little Bolton", I'm certainly not a neutral an we haven't discussed this walking away from the Reebok on Sunday.

When you criticise someone's performance in any walk of life, or opine that someone isn't very good at their job, it's part of that to say, 'I expect X and they are delivering Y'. In the same way we all left the Reebok on Saturday expecting one thing and having seen another.

Look, it's been made clear to me in this thread that nobody who wants Coyle out will provide an idea of how well they expect the club to do. All I've heard is whining, prevarication and contradiction. And a particularly poor suggestion on who we should replace Coyle with.

And seeing as nobody has asked, I expect us to finish between 10th and 15th this season. Look how easy it is.

You're beginning to get on my tits now. The only person whining on this thread is you as you seem to believe we should all be overjoyed at the way things are going. You're easily pleased that's all I can say. Just to shut you up and hope you fcúk off back to your other forum I'll go anywhere between 1st and 20th. It is easy isn't it? Pointless though.

The evidence speaks for itself. Carrying on from last season we are having a terrible run of form in the league. Peaks and troughs. It's the nature of football.

It's not just about results for me personally, it's about application and passion. Under Owen Coyle we have very little of either. And if you haven't already worked it out, these things are important to me.

If we'd gone down fighting at Anfield I'd have accepted the defeat. Ditto the game against United. I didn't expect to win these games. But they then took that pitiful attitude into the Norwich game and ended up 2-0 down against a team favourites for relegation.

You are quite welcome to your point of view but perhaps, rightly or wrongly, I just expect more than you. Just accept it.

Like Weststander says, you are becoming annoying with your obsession for Owen Coyle and the fact Sharps loves you should definitely start the alarm bells ringing.

For once we agree. LG's only contribution on here is to say "that's boring" or "I love mark Davies". Ban him.

Well done, you found the one post that didn't fit the trend.

Again, stop hijacking the thread.
