Anyone with a pony-tail I always view with suspicion.  I just think they are ' youth chasers '. Carroll is only young but he should take a leaf out of Tuncay's book.

Carroll by a country mile.

Apart from the miss wasn't Torres supposed to have a half-decent match yesterday?

I think players can learn a great deal from those two transfers - sometimes grass is not always greener, no matter how much more they offer to pay you.

Torres was half-decent yeasterday: took his goal very well.

He'll be back to top form in about a fortnight, mark my words.

Agreed, as bad as the miss was it is nothing that hasnt happened before and he did look really good yesterday and I expect him to be back on form sooner rather than later.

£35m for Andy Carroll was a joke.

And am I the only one who doesn't rate Kenny Dalglish? For me he's in exactly the same boat as Owen Coyle. A club hero as a player and followed a complete muppet in the management hot seat. But slowly and surely people are starting to question his tactics and signings.

And his "the refs are against us" is a joke, refs have been an extra player for Liverpool as long as I can remember.

100% agree on both.

He had a good time when he was last with liverpool and should never have gone back.

The thing is the liverpool fans are so blind that even if he made a fcúk up at liverpool now and got sacked he would still be a god.

Yes I totally agree with you on both too. Can anyone believe Liverpool let Aqualani and Meireles go and plays Henderson and Adam? Aqualani and Meireles are a million times better footballers than those two donkeys and yet Daglish never gave them a chance. And as for Andy Carroll, omg, £35m is the most ridiculous transfer fee ever. He had only played about 15 Premiership games and scored about 7 goals and Daglish seemed to think he was a world beater. Even Klasnic is capable of scoring 7 in 15 league games, doesn't mean he is worth £35m. Carroll is a donkey. He is probably only marginally better than Darius Henderson. He is a big lump who cannot control the ball, he has no pace and has a half decent shot at best. Terrible signing. I think £13m would have been too high a fee, never in my life have I seen a club pay so far over the odds for a player.
Liverpool will do nothing this season. The team is so devoid of genuine quality.

He'll play himself into form around 1.40pm on Sunday 2nd October.

Adam is a good solid player, but I very much he should be the kind of signing for a club that expects to be a regular feature in the top four or five.

To be honest with you I dont rate Meireles, at all, and as for Aquilani he never even tried at Liverpool, he just wanted to be back in Italy. Andy Carrol is an idiot and they paid 25 million pounds too much for him, BUT Henderson and Adams arent bad footballers so give them a chance

Torres is a quality player; he played well against UTD but yes he missed that chance fair enough.

his confidence is shot since that injury for some reason... hope he comes back though.

you can hardly call Carroll a flop yet or Adam and Nzogbia? Why? He's done pretty well everywhere he's been.

Shevshenko was pretty awful

Don't agree i think he's a good target man, strong, pretty quick and a decent touch.

is he world class not in a million years but he's not shíte and its not his fault they paid 35 million for him.

he's probably worth 10.

I had higher expectations than what he has performed
He is a target man but seems to have trouble getting the ball to his feet, first touch is always just a bit long

He did very well at Newcastle but his big move came too early and he didn't even want to move.

Newcastle forced him out because they needed cash.

he could do with a year on loan somewhere.

I understand what you are saying
but dont get how a loan would help him
and what club would be better to learn at than pool with louis swaurez and durk kuyt (no sure on spelling)
to play the ball in for him all he should have to do is be strong slam the ball in

Hmmmmmm... Which team are now quite famous for bringing young English players up to first team players at big clubs? I wonder if they'll take him on loan?

Why? He's a wánker who plays for Chelsea. Why would you want him to do well?

Because he wants Chelsea to finish top of the table and not Manchester City or United?
