I'm no football manager but surely you play the players that are in form and on that basis I;m wondering why there was no Bogdan, or Kakuta starting?

We're consistently good at playing any struggler into form.Coyle will probably send Bogdan and Co down for the Carling Cup, get a win then put the donkeys back in for the league match. He hasnt a fcuking clue.

Why was'nt Van Persie sent off for the attempted headbutt on Steinsson. It was just the same as Ivan's last week ?

Very soft goal - ran through the midfield - into where the right back should have been and beat the keeper easily at his near post. See it again if you don't believe me - http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/robin-van-persie-bolton-15451317/Sharps - Westander is right - Jussi is just a shadow of what he once was - the taught me in school nearly 50 years ago that a good keeper never lets himself get beaten on his near post - its all about positioning and being aware of where the goal is behind you - basic stuff.

JUst listening to Jack Dearden on bbc radio manchester saying we he hasn't seen a Bolton side lack fight and commitment. Puxxling really as he was the one commentating on Liverpool, Utd and Norwich.
What I've heard and seen didn't look like we had much of it then

Keepers are always getting beat at the near post these days, it could have been a cricket score if not for Jussi.

It was a soft goal to let in. He's living on past reputation now, has been for years. No point making decent stops after youve let the key one go past you.

It was a bit of a surrender tbh. Was a bit worried about the lack of pressing.

My lad went, his first London away game. I'm sure he enjoyed the experience if not the usual shite away stuff.

Have just seen the goals - and not sure what to think about Jussi....
(1) Van Persie's effort squeezed in at real pace, but maybe Jussi should have done better.... (2) Not much he could do about the second... (3) but the third - maybe I'm being harsh - but it seems to me another example of Jussi not getting any spring into his dives, which is something I've wondered about for the past 12 months or so....he seems to be on his knees a lot of the time instead of leaping through the air as he used to...
He's been a fantastic player for us, but maybe his time has come, or maybe he just needs a break, a reminder that no one should be a shoe-in...

Good first half, feeble second half.I don't think any other Premier League side would have lost 3-0 at Arsenal today.Worst Arsenal side since Wenger has been manager and one very low on confidence.Pathetic result.

That was shameful, absolutely shameful.
Not too bad first half. We never really looked like scoring other than an early Pratley chance but we defended ok. But as soon as that first Arsenal goal went in the team just gave up. Probably one of the worst surrenders of the last 20 years. If we’d been playing a decent Arsenal side we’d have let in seven or eight. Time and time again they just cut through us as though we weren’t there. Ok, they still have some good players but we just stood off them and let them play.
If there was any doubt before today that Owen Coyle is a clueless fanny, all doubt has gone.
1) Not picking Gardner at left back was suicide. Robinson has absolutely no pace and was made to look like a donkey all afternoon.
2) Zat Knight captain? Possibly the biggest mistake of any Bolton manager in history. The guy is a fcuking tart, has absolutely no leadership qualities and is the first one to let his head go down when the goals go in. Utterly amazing.
3) Pleased Coyle changed the formation, but once again he showed he has no plan B. It’s fine to play one upfront when the striker has pace, but for a Premiership manager to think Kevin Davies could do that job when Ngog went off injured is just incredible. As soon as Davies came on the game changed. Arsenal had more time on the ball and Davies was just left isolated. We played with 9 men once Wheater was sent off.
I left early today because these players don’t give a shite about Bolton Wanderers. Once again they had no fight and once the first goal went in they gave up. It’s not helped by the fact Owen Coyle is tactically clueless and a fcuking twat. I hate the guy for what he is doing to my beloved club. Anyone who still thinks Owen Coyle has a future at this club should watch a re-run of the second half. We are bottom of the league and will stay there until he is sacked.
Fcuk off Owen Coyle.

The only positive aspect from today's game was that we only let 3 in. It could/should have been double figures.
And we'd have carried on playing until tomorrow, we'd still not score.

We need a Plan C. That was fúcking shíte.
People will argue it was Arsenal and we shouldn't expect too much. I expect more than that shíte I saw yesterday. We didn't do too bad for the first 20 minutes then went back to our usual wánkness.
What a waste of over £100 yesterday was. Twats!!!

decent 1st half, but soon as ngog limped off i feared the worse, because soon as we brought 'super' kev on it was like we had 10 men.we are carrying him now.so when wheather got sent off it was like 9 men.another genius decision of Cole was to put Robinson back in to mark wallcott

I thought we played okay in the first half. At 0-0 we were still in it but things went from bad to worse in the second half. It's par for the course being a Wanderers fan.
The most exciting part of the day for me was seeing the Arsenal lass getting her boobs out to match Sharpy's avatar in the funbags stakes.
