Ron Atkinson would be a dream of mine. What a guy!
I like Ron Atkinson but he is seen as a pariah within the FA for his comments about Marcel Desailly live on air. It would be a brave chairman who would even consider approaching him. Terry Venables would be a better option. I tend to agree that in any other business, Coyle would be history by now but as Jimmy Greaves would say, ' Football is a funny old game.'

IF OC is sacked, Gartside needs to find an experienced Prem manager and offer him a lucrative contract until next June with a big bonus if he saves us from relegation. Then review the situation in June.
What we should have done with GM .........
Finding the new manager is the obvious problem in that scenario.

Kean is the obvious choice, but I actually think their owners are that clueless they will keep him. I've gone for Bruce. Spent lots of money (again) on a lot of average players. Not happy with Gyan being loaned behind his back either.
Spot on as usual!

I ws hoping to hear / see that Coyle had been relieved of his duties, this morning. Oh well. What a joke.

He still has one game left to get the necessary 4 points to keep his job.
