Would you take part in a Gay Pride parade if you were not gay or lesbian ?

Not unless I had a very good reason like getting paid millions or my life depended on it. I wouldn't do it for fun.

If I got a decent amount of money just to wander about and pretend to be one of them, then I would.

If I wasn't an internet millionaire I'd probably do it for that.

I can't say no to a bacon butty.

No, I don't think so.

Why not? It does not make you one and it would earn you some money.

Nope and Nope.

I stayed away from the gay weekend in Amsterdam the other week.  Let them have the city for the weekend if they want to "celebrate" their sexuality.

What ponders me is why do they want to celebrate their sexuality?

Us "heterosexual"  people don't, so why should they?

(there may be some Bi or homosexuals reading this, then I do apologise for clubbing you in with heterosexuals and, if possible, can you answer why a certain sect celebrate?)

Probably because for years and years they've been told it's wrong and to hide themselves away.

so in this age of "freedom" they thought lets celebrate the fact.

you can celebrate it if you want.

but respect the fact that others who have been abused for years are finally able to admit they aren't like you.

They are human

They have red blood

They have jobs

They eat and drink (and possibly smoke)

They have sex

Only difference being they sleep with the same sex - so what!

No I bloody well wouldn't, why would I?
I have nothing against people being gay but what I can't stand gay are people who basically make their whole life about being gay and their sexuality. I mean George Michael is fine, he's a proper decent bloke, he doesn't act all gay, he's just a normal bloke. But what I don't like are the Julian Clary's and Alan Carr's of this world who basically their whole life is about acting gay and sounding like a gay and totally camp so that they send signals to other gays that they are gay and want it up the shíte pipe. I think its weird and horrible.
I mean take me, I love women (and women love me) but I don't go about talking in the deepest voice I can and showing off my muscles to every woman I walk past and winking at women and basically making it known to every woman that I like women.
I just don't like these really camp people, I think its horrible and seedy and weird. I would hate to be in their company.
Am I going to get banned for saying that?

What about gingers, muslims, asians, religious sects.....

There are many minorities, who have been persecuted, out in this world and they do not celebrate although they have  the freedom to do so - why?

why is homosexuality so different?

(genuine question)
