Can we not change this to a Kevin Davies appreciation thread and to be honest this could be page after page long as there is so much you can mention.

Kevin Davies is a Bolton Wanderers legend imho. He might be getting old now but he's done way more for us than most players have. Djorkaeff and Okocha get loads of praise for what they did in a Bolton shirt. Davies has done more and deserves more respect than he gets from certain people. I love you Kev xxx

I've gone off Kevin Davies since his wife took his balls.

I think you're jealous of Mrs Davies.
I think it stems from her riding on Premier League cock whilst NW has to settle for championship meat.

He actually gives a shíte about the club...he may not be our best player and he may be getting a little past it but he'll always be a bolton legend to me and deserves more respect than he gets from some "fans" he's not immune to criticism and if you dont think he should play fair enough but the abuse he gets from some is BS

Like what? Please don't say played more games because many players have played more games for Bolton than Djorkaeff and Okocha but not been as important to Bolton's history.

He's our premier league record goal scorer. Is that not good enough for you?
He's also put in a huge number of excellent performances for us over the years? More than Jay Jay or Youri did. Is that not good enough for you?
You carry on with your Megson hating and brass licking though George. It's all you seem to know about.
Oh and collecting football programmes. You fúcking loser.

The Premier League was only formed in 1992 and he is the Bolton striker with most appearances in it since the 1st Division was renamed. He ought to have scored most really shouldn't he. His strike rate is poor though. So not having that his goal scoring record means he has done more for Bolton than Djorkaeff and Okocha.

You honestly think Youri and Jay Jay did more for us?
I'm a big fan of both but Kevin Davies has done more for us than they did.
He might not have the skills or the be as famous as them around the world but he has done the business for us season after season.
Long live King Kevin!!!

Okocha was the difference between us staying up and going down in 2002/03.
Djorkaeff was the difference in the second half of 2001/02 although Ricketts was just as important in the first half of that season.
Davies has never been the difference between success and failure.

Okocha was shíte for half his time with us.
Youri was brilliant but sadly didn't get the chance to stay with us too long.
Kevin Davies has been our Player Of The Year 3 times I think? He must've done something right.

Okocha was shite 95% of the time he was with us. Most of the games he played he was a passenger. Yes, he scored the odd great goal and did a few tricks, but when you actually analyse how many good games he had I'd put him up there with Steve McAnespie. His biggest contribution was being a big name that helped attract other big names. But he rarely produced on the pitch.

Okocha didn't score all that many goals for Wanderers as an attacking midfielder but he did create quite a few chances for others.

Okocha was told to "rein it in" by Fat Sam.
He was turned from gifted midfielder to throwing machine by the Dudley Dickhead.

He should have used the Dudley Dickhead when he had a go at Darts.

Davies has never been the difference between success and failure. Bullshit, his goal against West Ham in 2008 (with a broken finger no less) inspired the run that kept us up.
