It's a fair assessment of Owen Coyle.

Coyle seems the only person who rates Zat Knight. The only person who thought Eagles could step up from the Championship bench to the Premiership. The only person who thinks Robinson is Premiership standard. The only person who takes positives from every crushing defeat.

He must have aged a lot in 6 months then.

He's been found out more in the first four games of this season than in the majority of last season.

Now fcuk off defending players you haven't even seen in the flesh.

I'm not defending him just showing how fickle fans are.

he became the hero last season because he didn't have any skill he was the "proper footballer"

now he's getting ripped.

laughable.

He's not getting ripped, people are pointing out he isn't good enough. I applaud his attitude, but if you're not even of average Premiership standard then you should be removed. Gardner would be a vast improvement.

I agree Gardner would probably get beat less often but his passing is woeful...

so it's taking away one problem and giving another.

Once Rickky does one of them special cross field passes to the other team he'll be getting abuse.

Really badly written.  Sounds like some guy mouthing off in the pub after a defeat, not like an "article."

Bogdan - untested

He had a run last year, despite considering 4 goals away at Arsenal he wasn't exactly a liability during his spell.

Ricketts - good as back up

Boyata - loan, gone soon

He's here for the season, how is that soon?

Robinson - slow, last season

What he lacks in mobility he has made up in positioning, made some great tackles during the Liverpool match.

Alonso  - wannabe winger, no good, going to prison

If he was going to prison he would have gone by now, not that I agree with drink drivers getting away with it but the woman was killed in May. He was arrested at the time but has now been freed, as far as I know no court case is pending so god knows what went on there.

Cahill - going in Jan probably

Yes and hopefully we'll get some cash to reinvest into the squad.

Wheater - Ugly as sin, not great

What the on earth has looks got to do with football? Campo is as about as attractive as a donkeys behind yet no one complained about it at the time. When he's had games with us Wheater has looked fairly solid, I don't think I'm the only one who doesn't understand why he still on the bench.

Lee - out for season

Yes and then he'll be back when most of our loanee's go back

Eagles - past it/useless

Let's not forget that he's given some tidy crosses, looked well good against QPR but admittedly has been found wanting against the big boys. But like someone else mentioned 25 is far from passed it.

Kakuta - loan, back to Chelsea

Yes he’s only here until Jan but having him is better than having no player at all.

Petrov - old, cant defend, final season

Yes he’s poor at tracking back but 32 isn’t old these days but he is our best left winger and like Eagles has been known to put in some tidy crosses now and again.

Gardner - perma injury, old

Attach Keegan style insult. Sadly Bibi isn't what he use to be but he is reliable when fit.

Mavies - sporadic

Holden - possibly injury prone

He's had two injuries both caused by freak tackles, De Jong while playing for the US and then by Jonny Evans the DMB. Hardly prone more unlucky.

Davis - possibly dead

Now that is injury prone, I bet most of our fans forget that he’s one of our players.

NRC - Villa couldn't wait to get rid, he has not impressed me yet

Villa offered him a new contract, how's that getting rid? He looked good against QPR and has consistently been one of our better midfielders, not bad for a Bosman. He can't singlehandedly beat Man U, Man City and Liverpool on his own though and who'd expect him?

Muamba - Couldnt hit a barn door, cant pass

Thank god Loftus Road isn't a farm then. But he's right Muamba's flaws are all to see.

Davies - past it, final season

At this stage of his career he's bound to have one good game to every bad game. Part of this is his age, the other part is that he gets targeted by reffs due to mind games, hence Big Nose. But it is time to try and wean us off our reliance on him.

Ngog - newbie, anything could happen yet

Blake - past it, only got one leg

He's probably our best free kick taker mind, not a bad option to come off the bench. That said he shouldn't start any matches.

Tuncay - loan, going back soon

It's obvious that he has no future at Wolfsburg so there's no major reason why we won't tie up a deal for him at the end of the year.

Klasnic - goal machine but not really one who should be first eleven

Why are people still judging him on his lack of kidney?

We're fooked!

We're not, no need to go all John Laurie on us

The only reason he's on the bench is that Coyle is half way up Knights backside. When Knight was injured, Wheater did better, but when Knight was back to fitness, he was straight back in the starting eleven. It's madness I tell you, madness!
