Is anyone watching Big Brother? I was feeling depressed so I tuned in. What an absolute pile of shoite the current contestants are. The oldest entrant is only 30. Ageism at it worst.

I don't like it. If I'm being honest, the less type of these programmes, the better TV would be.

I feel compelled to watch it just to see how far the youth of today have become deluded. One guy whose name is Aden but pronounces it ' Ard on ' is 19. He claims to have slept with 49 women. There must be some seriously screwed up slappers in his neck of the woods.

They need more films and original drama on tv.
Big bro had its day years ago.

They wouldn't make Big Brother if people didn't watch it. Reebok Trotter is clearly well educated but he still watches it, so you can guess every chav in the country is tuning in.

I think out of every series that has ever been on of Big brother I have watched about 5minutes of it and that was because the channel up button on my remote fucked up. How anyone can even think of watching these shows is just beyond me. They wouldn't make Big Brother if people didn't watch it.
oh and this ^

I watch it for the simple reason that it is a fascinating insight into the human psyche. There are some seriously screwed up people out there. Fourteen of them are currently in the Big Brother house.
The producers incorporate the full gamut of extreme personalities and put them together in a great big glass bubble and then just sit back and light the touchpaper. It's a fly on the wall documentary, warts and all, and I find it compulsive viewing. Some of the characters make me cringe and others make me laugh. It is almost a form of prostitution without the stigma attached.
The Geordie lass who is only eighteen who works for McDonalds is very interesting. She looks older than eighteen but clearly isn't.
Allegiances will form and friendships will be made ( and broken ) within the space of a week. A fascinating insight into the youth of today.

I would agree with you about the very first series RT but since then (imo) they have simply showcased wantabe Z listers and potential wags since then - which isn't a true reflection on society (at least I hope its not!).

This latest one with Pamela Anderson as the honeytrap is very interesting. She might be a supermodel but at 44 she is starting to feel her age. She is resentful of the younger women who are in the house as can be seen by the sauna episode.
It's early days but the 25 year model from Manchester called Loiuise is looking like a shoe-in for the final.

That's the one. She is one of the few in there who appears to have a modicum of intelligence.

That Rebekah who works for Spearmint Rhino as an escort is a scheming bitch. She got her comeuppance tonight and will be out the door on Friday. Heaven Africa may not look like heaven but at least she can read stones.

Rebeckah got the boot tonight. Bonny girl but a grade A attention seeker. I wouldn't mind trying a piece of her Rhino Spearmint but I suspect she would be very high maintenance. She doesn't strike me as the type of girl who would empty my commode with a smile on her face.
