what do u think 11 goals conceded in the last 3 games by jussi (in prem) i know it was teh big clubs but jussi has started to make some mistakes for example david silva's goal and bogdan said he wants the number one spot. who do you think should line up against norwich ?

Would Bogdan play any better behind the defence that Jussi as had?
Would Jussi play better if say the likes of Knight were replaced?
My point is that any keeper as to be judged bearing in mind what sort of defensive cover he is receiving.

Of the two: still Jussi.
Selling Al Habsi was not a footballing decision, though.

I agree that he has far from a solid defence in front of him but some of the mishandling from basic easy catches needs to be really looked at.

Look at Van der Sar a couple of seasons ago - I thought he was playing rubbish yet he went on the longest ever run of not conceding. The defenders defo help keepers to make less errors.

Bogdan did nothing during his brief spell in goal to suggest he is any better than Jussi.
Coyle fcuked up by selling Al Habsi, but as usual he took the wrong option.

Bogdan plays very similar to Jussi same kicking style and everything he's like a clone.

Why? We all know if Habsi was still at the club that Jussi would still be number one.

Jussi has not played well since Fred Barber stopped being his handler.

And there we probably have it, Sharps. Do we have a goalkeeping coach now ? I don't notice the warm-ups they used to have pre-match & half-time, but then I'm usually in the 'bok last-minute.

Could be a coincidence but Jussi does not seem to have those games anymore like at Blackburn and Hull away where he single handedly gets us the win.

It's funny you should mention the goal keeping coach thing because when we played Macc a few weeks back I was having a conversation with the woman next to me and she seemed in the know with the bwfc staff to be fair and she was telling me that since OC brought this new keeping coach in from burnley Jussi hasn't been the same in training.
It makes sense because you don't see Barber half as much as you used to before the games and the away games especially.

She was about 65 and never stopped complaining about the players and kept having a go at people infront of her for standing up so maybe it was.

We do have three goalkeeping coaches on the books, Barber, Phil Hughes and Fred's understudy Neil Edwards. Could be a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth.
