They all deserve a vote imho.
As I can't vote for them all I'll just go for Owen Coyle.
Shít!!!

Coyle, Cahill and K.Davies.
Coyle got team wrong from start. Davies was as much use as a brick. Cahill made too many mistakes and lacked a certain "body on the line" mentality that we need from our defenders.

Coyle for being a clueless fanny and not having the balls to condemn the players.
Robinson for being shite.
Petrov for being a lazy fcuker who needs a slap.

You're right, I must have missed United taking the piss out of us down our left for 90 minutes.

Coyle, Jussi, Knight. Honourable(?) mentions to Robbo and Eagles.

How Zat Knight gets in the team match after match god knows......
Also, in that case - Owen Coyle for getting the team and formation wrong today!

Megson for spending £40 million on a load of crap.
And the board for letting an alehouse league manager like Megson spend it instead of giving it to Allardyce or Coyle.

Whilst Robbo was useless - all 5 goals came from our left side - I find it hard to look past the tactics and selection for this game. We knew what to expect, but OC stuck doggedly to a system which left defenders badly exposed so the CBs were pulled out of position and it made them look bad.
Unfortunately I've had to vote for OC on this occasion.

Count me in as well. What he lacks in shooting prowess he makes up for with his workrate. Not the most gifted of midfielders but he performs a worthwhile role just in front of the back four.

So why did you state on a different thread that the result v Man U would have been worse had Muamba played?

He's probably the best example of a Bolton player being badly effected by the system that Coyle persists with.
4-4-2 means two strikers - so width is required to 'feed' them. 'Attack' then is usually down the flanks, with the modern thinking being using 'wing-backs' rather than two wingers to fulfil this role. Must teams deploying this method would have two defensive midfields - to protect the defence - particularly in the case of one of the wingbacks being caught up field.
With having wingbacks supplying the width it is no longer a requirement to have two wingers - one of them are 'sacrificed' for a creative midfielder.
In Bolton's case we could 'make do and mend' so to speak with the players that we have - for instance we could use Steinsson as an attacking wingback down the right and still keep Petrov as a winger on the right. Holden (or Pratley until he returns - or even possibly Tuncay) would come in the team as attacking mid, with Eagles being dropped.
I'm no lover of 4-4-2 but with just a little bit of thinking, we could balance the side better within that formation and still play the sort of football Coyle is seeking without leaving our defence vulnerable.
It's not rocket science really is it?
At present Muamba is left to win the ball, close down players and protect the defence - even before he thinks of even trying to pass the ball to a white shirt - little wonder he's not achieving all of that is it?
