What does everyone think about airport security? We obviously need them but I think most of what they do is for show. All they seem to do is slow everyone down and cause massive queues. I get searched more thoroughly at away games. Surely the x-ray machines are good enough to spot anything we might be trying to take on to the plane? If they're not then surely in this day and age they should be.

I don't like them looking through my bags and giving me the rub down.
they always do that fcuking extra security check on my bag... well the last 2 times i was on a plane.

he had friday night drinks with a few friends then a quiet night in with the GF  flight to bolton to watch Lenny Henry stand up show and back for work on monday

Dave, or even lego'd, have you ever though in investing in the retina security system - much faster and no hassle whatsoever!!! I have paid the extra for both schipol and manchester for the last 2 years!!!

Means spending more time at home, together, curled up watching TV, chatting and just plain relaxing :-)

All I will say is that I have many friends of which there does seem to be a 50/50 split between male and female - does it really matter if they are tranny, gay, or whatever as friends are friends. Only someone who has a problem with either someone else's sexuality, or their own, would ever bring a question like that up!

I am asking because most men would not really hang about with one but when trawling through the archive you said in a thread that you have a friend going through gender re-assignment, how did that go?
