On talksport today Micky Quinn called us a "Pub team like Stoke" and "knight is never a premier league player"

they also said they couldn't believe anyone would bid 8 million for Cahill.

The name Micky Quinn says it all really but he has a point about Knight though but a fcuking chimp could point that fact out.

Thoughts from the game......

The Assistant Referee on the Nat Lofthouse Stand side of teh pitch was a complete useless faggot.  He did not keep up with the game and made far too many errors to belive he is actually Premiership standard

Kevin Davies should not have been in the starting line-up of this game, in fact he should not have been on the bench - he was far too slow for any of the ManU players

Loved the old-skool tackles by Paul Robinson - at least he was really that frightened of going for a tackle against any of them scum, unlike the rest of the Bolton squad who seemed to be in awe of playing against them

Why wasn't Tuncay either playing from the start, or at least half-time

Only posistive from thsi game - At least we are better than Arsenal, against United!

I was at that game, that fcuking dick head Mike Dean sent him off just because that wanker Herman however the fcúk you spell his name legitimately elbowed Kev and then that scouse bastard did his usual by evening it up for a fcúk all challenge.

It may shock a few but I was at the game too and can confirm that Hreidarsson was sent off for breaking Davies cheek bone (after Davies had put in a few headers which I thought were fair but incensed the Charlton players - imo they conned the ref) and Davies was sent off shortly afterwards over a nothing header - the ref did seem to want to even things up.

The ww flag was out that day as well I seem to remember.

I've thought for years that Hreidarsson got away with it.

I also thought Davies was sent off for elbowing him back.

Age is catching up with me.

As I recall it was a blatant retaliation elbow from Davies and he totally deserved his red card.

It was Nani I think not sure, easy mistake to make either way.

It was Evra, I remember I thought back to the legendary "Because I don't like you" retort.

Yet you agreed that we missed him on another thread?

I was being sarcastic, I for one like the guy and is good at what he does, he aint a striker he frustrates the opposition, likes to get stuck in and I have never seen him back out of a tackle.

OK, sarcasm doesn't transmit well on a forum.

ignore my post on the other thread in that case.

Peds, I was there mate - it was a fair challenge, the sort of thing Davies as made his career from - the crowd / the ref bottling it, got him sent off - not the challenge.

He's from the Wirral. He shouldn't be allowed to referee Bolton games.

I am waiting for the game where he tries to score against us from a corner.

Maybe I'm confusing it with the time he split open some Boro player.

I was at that one too, Pogatetz I think it is spelt, I think he has the nickname Mad Dog and was supposed to be some hard nut defender who started crying like fcúk when he got a bit of a cut.

I was there. Nothing up with it. The Boro player should've been sent off for his reaction.
