The reason I mention him is, his Sheffield Wednesday side go to Bury on Tuesday night.
He is bound to be on the receiving end of some wittiness from the home crowd, is he not?

Bolton don't have a big rivalry like some clubs and I find that hating Megson and whoever he manages makes up for that. |

Started with O'Grady who clearly wasnt fit and limped off with his heal injury in the first half. then spent the next 60 minutes knocking long high balls to Madine with no support at all. I hope Madine doesnt cop all the sh1t again, he worked very hard on his own to no avail. Only put a 2nd striker on with 10 minutes to go, whats the bloody point. One thing is for certain, playing that style will get us nowhere, no matter who we buy. 2 more wingers and another striker will do us no good if we continue to lump it forward for 90 minutes.
I dont want to hear any more tales about great intelligent fans, trips to the back of the kop or what league we should be playing in, just sort out the football please GM. i want to point out this is NOT a megson out plea, but he really needs to change this horific way of playing asap.

The Gary Megson that is now manager of Sheffield Wednesday is a very different man to the one that left Bolton Wanderers. Instead of blaming the attitude of the club's fans aswell as the players for poor results, he now praises the club's fans to the point of nausea and just sticks to blaming the players. This is why, on Sheffield Wednesday boards they only ever hate him for that 3 or 4 hour period after each shocking performance. He's got them wrapped round his little finger. |
