Is it just me.............but Match of the Day has always betrayed the Trade Descriptions Act in that they have never cared about the best match but rather their favourite big four.  The opening credit sequence on Match of the Day last night pretty much declared that.  Mostly Man U, some Liverpool for Lawro no doubt, a bit of Newcastle,  some Arsenal & Fulham for some reason.  Nobody else entered into the fray.

I was also amazed that we were the first match on, anybody would think Man U weren#'t playing yesterday.  Oh yeah, that's right, they weren't.

If your life is so empty you care about the opening credits of a late night tv show I suggest getting out more.

Natasha, one of the saddest things about this forum is the insistence of people having to denigrate comments of others.  Such negativty is non productive.
So, forgetting my somewhat irrelavant take om BBC biased, I will re-phrase that I just didn't like the opening segway.

God gave you life and you waste it worrying about the credits to Match of the Day. I'm sorry, but I don't get it.

I think you have hit the nail on the head. Your imposing a thought process that just isn't there.  A clear danger of reading words which by its nature makes it harder to communicate subtext. In other words I hardly worry about such trivia.  I was taking on board the "Is it just me" theme which by it's nature was irrelevant.  Shall we agree there are better things to worry about.
