Over 1,000 people have been arrested this week for various crimes during the rioting. My question for the people of Burnden Aces is have you ever been arrested for anything?

In Thailand a couple of years back, so it doesn't really count.

The evening I spent in a Thai jail will be one for the memoirs though.

Do arrests in other countries not count?

I have a couple less if that's the case.

Not really - there's no trace back home.

Oh I did get arrested when I was young. I can't remember actually getting arrested, but I remember blubbering during a caution at Horwich nick.

I got told by the police that everyone arrested in a foreign country gets reported to Interpol.

You can get away with that in Mexico
But you would be surprised what they will arrest you for
Of coarse all they want is a pay off

I can confirm that is hogwash.

They only get involved if enquiries or extraditions and the like need carrying out.

Ha Ha.

And Sharpy - Didn't Reg Hollis get outed in one of the Sunday papers for being into so fairly sordid S & M saga?

Not been arrested in any foreign country but have been questioned as a witness in a murder inquiry in Amsterdam - an English bloke murdered a German with an axe through the head at a StayOkay Hostel, in Vondelpark - about 6 years ago!

Your point had nothing to do with the thread. Who asked about being questioned as a witness?

Don't ruin the thread.

Oddly enough if you google said hostel the only reference to an axe or murder is a review - something about I wouldn't go there even if I was being chased by an axe murderer.
