Everyone who liked football had a subbuteo team and alsorts of accessories like the pitch, stands, orange balls, fancy nets, etc.
But did anyone else think it was a really stupid game? Flicking plastic men towards the ball. It seemed like we were easily pleased back in that generation.

When I was at school it was the dogs. Everyone had a team and we used to have organised leagues where we would meet at a designated houise every week and play our fixtures. At the time it was the highlight of the week and very competitive, especially for me being an English kid in Scotland.

Obviously now looking back it's old hat, but was enjoyable at the time.

I'm a girl, stop trying to turn this into a thread about underage sex.

You should be banned, simple as that.

No you are not - early 30's = woman/lady not girl!

It is your mind that thinks that and not me - just explaining the differences from my point of view between girl and woman/lady

Anyway subbuteo - old hat even when I was younger, but did the real thing instead - jumpers for goalposts on the grassland (between Thornham Drive and Langham Close - Sharples)

Why do you always feel the need to give out personal information? You have a disease.

I never said that - but he could have chosen better phraseology (coming from me who has difficulty spelling the simplest words sometimes!)

I think Amos has already said enough to implicate himself, shall we put ourselves forward as witnesses in his case against Amos?

Sharpy,  Where are these court papers, you keep hawking on about, with regards to suing me with what was said on the BN forum?

You seem to have gone very quiet on that score.

You know you settled out of court and did not want to have your face dragged through the mud like your father's was.

Question questions questions - your lives must be really mundane, if you can only ever think about is questioning me about my personal life and that of my family.

Here is an idea - get from behind the keyboard and enjoy some of that fresh smoggy air you ahve outside - and get a life :-)

best idea of the day

even better - get on with your work - lunchtime over
