There seems to be quite a varied range of music tastes on this forum, as I guess there is on any other forum. But this is just to see who you have seen live, who you are going to see live, who you would see live... and who you couldn't be paid all the money in the world to see.

For me I've never been a major gig goer due to football taking up most of my time and money but I've been to a handful of big ones such as Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, but I much prefer the ones lower down the list that aren't as famous (and therefore as pricey). For example Dirty Pretty Things and the Courteeners before they started getting more mainstream, really great nights watching those two. Glasvegas also.

I wanted to see Iron Maiden in Manchester the other night but funds just didn't quite stretch far enough in time. Who would/will/have you been going to see then?

I used to go to a lot of gigs. The ones that stand out are Happy Mondays in the G-Mex, The Verve at Haigh Hall, Primal Scream at Leeds, Ian Brown at Glastonbury.

I can't really think of any current band I'd like to see tbh.

I wish I'd been old enough to see the Roses in their prime. The Blackpool gig in particular looks epic, just one of those nights where you could say "I was there". Is Brown touring this year do you know?

I have never been to any live musical event and never will, I have never liked anybody enough to fork out money to see them live.

I've been to a lot of gigs, probably pushing 100 or so. Sadly, not so many in the last 10 years.

The best one I ever saw was Ice-T at Glasgow Barrowlands, closely followed by a couple of Public Enemy gigs, Ultramagnetic MCs and Big Daddy Kane. I also saw a crazy Wu-Tang show, although it was more memorable for the antics on stage than the music.

Worst one was possible going to see a group called Whale and seeing a truly awful pre-famous Placebo warming up for them.

You don't like any music enough to see them live? Not everyone costs £40-50 to watch live. Quite shocked anyone could have this view to be honest.

I'm not sure. He normally does though. I've seen him a few times. Not the best singer but still worth seeing.

The worst I've seen was Coldplay. It was a terrible experience and one I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I was at Glastonbury and had just watched Primal Scream. Coldplay were on next so my plan was to fúck off somewhere else as soon as Primal Scream finished. Unfortunately about 100,000 people decided they wanted to watch Coldplay and I couldn't get out the field I was in. So I had to stand there for 2 hours listening to Chris 'I'm a twat' Martin.

I went to Reading 2002 and there was some good things there.

Muse and Janes addiction were good.

I saw Muse in 1999 as well and i think Skunk anansie were support really hated them.
