Guess our former boss won't be too happy tonight!


ALFRETON Town continued their pre-season build-up with a 14-0 victory over a youthful Sheffield Wednesday side who found themselves overwhelmed.

In front of 538, the Reds took the lead inside the first two minutes when visiting keeper Sean Cuff pushed a Josh Law cross into his own net for an own goal after just one minute and 50 seconds.

Goals came at regular intervals after that with Law doubling the lead on six minutes after which three players notched hat-tricks, Nathan Arnold, Nathan Jarman and Paul Clayton, the last of which came from the penalty spot.

It was a Sheffield Wednesday XI, made up of 12 year olds.

First team drew 0-0 with Stoke yesterday.

Dont let facts get in the way of a Megson rant though.
