This should be everything that I hate.

Its a soap (technically), the acting is generally pretty poor and the script is jam packed with cliches.

But since watching them all on DVD from the very first episode, its quietly become one of my personal favourite shows on the box. It's never short of a good storyline and its quite humourous in parts.

I don't expect there'll be many on here willing to swallow their pride and join me in forwarding their appreciation for this little gem of a TV show, but I think it deserves a mention anyhow.

I can honestly say I've never seen it. Am I missing out?

Used to watch it ages ago, one of the stories was about a kid bringing a gun into school.

But oldtimers as set in again, so best keep stum from now.

Some high school thing. I hate soaps, too so this hasn't a chance.

Is this a coming out post? This is the gayest thing since Barry telling me he was a massive fan of John Barrowman.

A poor man's Grange Hill.

Did Mark Fowler get aids in Grange Hill or was it not until he ended up in Walford, he did well to cope with it for so long and he even had a stint as a copper.

RIP Mark.
