Over the last week or so a pair of Blackbirds have been making a real racket in the garden. It's not a nice bird song, it's an awful and very annoying sound.
Just yesterday the female was stood on next doors roof making a racket..............with a bloody insect in her mouth!
I mean come on.
After much thought and consideration I've come to a decision and I've decided to shoot them both. This upsets my karma because I am very much a wildlife lover, however my philosophy is only kill a creature if you intend eating it.
So my questions are....... has anyone plucked a Blackbird or eaten one?
Does it make for good eating?

Thanks for the advice chaps. I went to shoot one this afternoon but missed and hit the next door neighbour (don't worry he's Irish). Seriously i've trouble with a plucking Blackbird.they will actually swoop at you.
Just sat int back garden admiring mi flowers, doing no arm at all just.supping mi Complan.
This FcIkin Blackbird giving it large, sat on mi fence, next thing it go's for me, and takes mi Syrup clean off.
