Today we overtook Bolton Banter in terms of posts made - when someone made our 146,727 post.
We've only been around for just over three years - so it takes some doing to have not only caught but surpassed bb.
Thanks to everybody who has contributed to our forum since we started - as we are only as good as the posters who post.

Brilliant this. I know the site has been abit quite, even at the season end, but hopefully the site will continue to grow for many more years/ however long Manny plans to keep it open.  |

The other websites that I run all generate income streams, which is where I derive some of my income from.

I made a comment ages ago about buying the site from Manny as a joke and you made a comment about you would put in an offer if the site was available, it may not have been a serious post but it was one you had made. It was a joke rather than any opposition to you considering acquiring the site, seeing you had a site previously and if you had fancied another go, it would not take a genius to work out it would be easier to take on an existing forum with a fanbase albeit a slightly retarded one. |

Ah, OK.
I thought you'd just said that, because I offered an opinion on how sites like these should be taken forward.
I probably would be interested in taking the site off Manny's hands, but it's highly unlikely it'd ever happen.
Partly, because I feel that he's not really wanting to part with his "baby", despite not really having enough time to devote to it and also partly because I'd imagine he'd probably over-value the site's worth. I'd imagine he'd want at least a 4-figure sum for the site and without knowing what, if any, revenue streams are already in place it'd be difficult to back up such a request.
I currently run 6 successful sites, and so I do believe that I'd be able to do the same here, but it's all hypothetical at the end of the day. Manny will no doubt eventually read this and he knows where I am if he wants to talk turkey.

If you take into the account the people that would probably come from WW to support Traf it would probably make the forum a lot stronger. So I suppose that figure would be for the potential the site has plus what it already is at present. |
