I have just registered Darequam with Mr Gadd. Darequam has agreed to carry out scouting duties in Nigeria for one hour a week and he will use this post to update Burnden Aces with his progress and any developments on the Nigerian front.

He will be looking at any young blood with a view to any potential grooming in the future. If he can uncover just one Jay Jay Okocha for Wanderers then he  will be a hero both in Bolton and Nigeria.

Chee thanks Jamster, i also hope God makes it easy for me to unravel some wonderful talent for the team as soon as possible..

For those who are not too familiar with me, i'll like to give a Quick-intro on who i am...

Name: Oludare Quam
Nicknamed: Darequam (i guess you can call me Dare)
Born in  the southwest region of the country where football is well celebrated and embraced as the no1 sport.
Currently a Mechanical Engineering Student in the University of Ibadan(1st uni in d country)
I've been a trotter blood for the past 7yrs, and i've contributed on different forums starting from the now scrapped MESSAGE BOARD on the official site..
I migrated into the team during the 'Jay Jay' era and since then, i've developed something called passion for the team.
It'll be a dream come true if i can work to add to the success of the team, even though i've had several spell of fantasies  on football manager..
....Keep a tab on this corner of the Web as i take u through my findings in the search for Reebok's next Star..

BOLTON TILL I DIE,
I MA DIE BEING A TROTTER!

Quim was that portuguese goalie.

"Quim slips"

Some good puns to be had there.

Now that Dar is an official scout can we allow him the opportunity to carry out his role without abuse? He is out there at the sharp end on behalf of his beloved team. It's not easy spotting raw talent. If it was we would all be doing it.

Dar, your Avatar is a good one. You look clean cut and professional. Mr Gartside would be impressed.

What I meant was..... can we leave this post for Darequam to post his observations and any pictures or videos of any games he has visited.

He needs time to bed in.

I was just wondering if he'd managed to lay his hands on any young talent yet.

Dar has a rolling contract with an open remit. As he is our first ambassador in Africa he could make a name for himself. I am looking forward to his first post especially as the transfer window is looming.

Oludare Quam is a fine example of a foreign Bolton Wanderers supporter. Excellent stuff keep it up.

Keegan you could learn something from this lad.

Worried about what? RT has employed him to scout for young talent abroad. What could go wrong?

All i can think about is that Film Turistas - I'm worried Quam walks into a bad area after a scouting trip and ends up getting hurt.

Hopefully he doesn't get eaten by lions but it's a risk he'll have to take.

I have spoken to Quam about the potential dangers because I don't want him traipsing hundreds of miles through the African jungle armed only with a pen, notebook and camera.
I have heard about poachers and angry tribesmen and suchlike. He assures me that Lagos and Ibadan are big cities and it is quite safe for him. I think it's best to let him use his own judgement when it comes to his personal safety.

He has assured me that there are no Bushmen wrapped in animal skins who are ' up to no good.'
