Ok, I know most people don't give a stuff about cycling but I do
The Tour de France is really the only road race (as opposed to track racing - mainly the Olympics), that really matters and almost everything else in cycling revolves around that.
Anyway there is a big warm up race for the Tour called the Dauphine Libere, which Englishman Bradley Wiggins has just won today -I guess it is sort of like equivalent of someone winning Queens just before Wimbledon in tennis.
It doesn't mean Wiggins will win the Tour - he won't unless something drastic happens to the two other favourites (a Spaniard and a bloke from Luxembourg) but never the less in cycling terms it is a great achievement and one I thought I would mention on here.
