This bent bastard has been on his toes since 1992 having embezzled millions from his Polly Peck company. It is estimated that during his tenure as owner and Chief Executive of Polly Peck he STOLE £250 million.

The serious Fraud Office have mounted a prosecution based on only £25 million of the total amount defrauded. He owns numerous properties in Northern Cyprus and only came back to stand trial because he got wind of an EU directive involving the Turkish side of Cyprus in relation to extraditions of wanted criminals. As Turkey are desperate to be fully fledged members of the EU Gravy train he decided to do the honourable thing and return to the UK to stand trial.

It now transpires that the cheeky bastard has applied for legal aid for his defence and his request was granted this week in the High Court.

What an absolute mockery of the criminal justice system. Legal aid was brought in to give those who couldn't afford legal representation the right to a fair trial.

By granting this oily spiv legal aid the judges have once again shown their absolute contempt for the British taxpayer.

I can only agree, total disgrace. Let's just hope he gets sent down for a good spell.
