Born in Bolton.
I went to St Thomas C of E Primary School in Halliwell and Sharples Secondary. Then went to Bolton Sixth Form, next door to Smithills and I'm now at Bolton Uni.
Lived in the same house all my life at the top end of Halliwell, come Smithills.
Everyone else?

Born at Townleys and lived in Leach Street till the age of seven. Went to Clarendon Primary School. Spent most of my early years up Halliwell and Blackburn Road then spent a spell up Daubhill near Cannon Street. Moved to Little Lever and then onto Manchester when I got married.

Another Townley's baby here. Lived towards the bottom end of Halliwell Road where I went to Primary school before going to Grammar School at Deane. My career took me down south in the eighties and I've ended waking up every morning with a nice view Windsor Castle to look out to. I'm not too sure that Liz gets the same joy at looking out of her window at my place though!

Born at my gran's in Farnworth.
Went to Queen St CP in Farnworth, then Bolton School, then Lancashire Polytechnic (now Uni of Central Lancs!)
Lived with parents at 3 different Farnworth addresses until 15, moved back to my gran's until I went to Poly. Lived in Preston, then lived in Didsbury, Annan (Scotland), Farnworth (briefly), Urmston and now in Weir, E. Lancs.
Oh, I also lived in France for 18 months.

Born at Bolton General, not sure what Townleys is or if that's it (and no adults here to ask right now), Turton High School for me, then Blackburn College, and Bolton Uni. Lived in Bromley Cross all my life, but desperately want to see the world now. As soon as I can save some money I'll have it away on my toes, whatever that bloody means.

Short and sweet, born at Bolton Royal (not sure if that's Tonleys or not)... Bolton Royal was the one at the bottom of Chorley New Road (I think the David Lloyd Tennis Centre is there now) and Townleys was the one in Farnworth. The Royal got knocked down and I'm fairly sure that Townleys changed its name to Bolton General. I think then that Townleys / Bolton General some years afterwards changed its name again to the Royal Bolton Hospital.

Thank you both I'm doing a Primary Education course, specialising in maths. Just make sure there is a career at the end of it. Teaching is a marvelous vocation. If I had my time over again then I would go in for teaching.

Born at home in Radcliffe Road, Haulgh. bit of a give away with my tag. Knew Fred Dibnah before he was famous. There's a scratching at straws claim to fame. Went to St. May,s RC primary in centre of town. Now a hotel and restaurant. then went to Tonge Fold high, knocked down for houses. Went to Fold's Road college, now knocked down; spotting a theme here. Also went to Hayward Grammar 6th Form. Left for London mid eighties. Somehow have ended up in Bristol for the last 15 years. Really miss the friendliness of the people in Bolton but on the + side it is warmer down here.
