Possibly New York and Boston at the end of October. Lets hope it comes off as New York is somewhere Ive always wanted to see. Where in the USA are you heading Sluffy?

Just got back from Vale Do Lobo in the Algarve. Hired a car and visited Albufeira and Villamoura. Beautiful part of Portugal and ideal if you like golf. There were bloody golfers and golf courses everywhere.
Bit more expensive eating out than in Spain but I can recommend the Peri Peri Chicken and Peri Peri Prawns. The SuperBok beer is not bad either.

The plan is to do California and Las Vegas.

I would love to do Boston in the Autumn - maybe one day.

Make sure Squidgy takes you whale watching.

I'm sure you will love New York - so many shops and so little time!

Got back from a cheap week in Menorca over a week ago, Carlagandana (I think thats how it was spelt), gorgeous part of the world and a nice quiet week away from work!  Grin

Sluffy, It's nice but a bit pricey if you are eating out every night. There were some luxury Villas on the golf course and you opened your patio to lush putting greens. The Portuguese must spend a fortune on water because the sprinklers are going morning and night. They even have battery operated buggies. No-one carries their own golf bag.

Just back from 11 days in Tenerife, lovely weather, cheap food and drink and the added bonus of watching the Champions league final in a bar full of armchair Mancs!

Quite an odd one planned this year.

Instead of a typical lads holiday, a few of us thought we'd do something abit different so had the idea to rent a barge for a week. We go from some place up in Yorkshire, and the only plan at the moment seems to be to drink quite alot and presume that we'll just be able to chance using the boat right. It'll be an experience to say the least!

Also supposed to be going to Leeds festival and going camping just before everyone leaves for Uni, ie the beginning of September, when it starts getting really cold and wet. Really cant wait for that...

New York in the winter time is my favourite place on earth.  I know it's a cliched thing to say, but although you know what to expect having seen the place in films, pics etc, you are still awestruck every single moment you're there.  I was there a few months back for the big three-o.
Hitting a few festivals over the summer and then off to the Ukraine in the autumn...
