I ended up with 62/72. I used to know the lot but with all these two-bit Conference teams and stadium sponsrship it ain't as easy as it used to be!

I did the same mistake but luckily got that one in time. Have to say I'm disappointed at the amount of so-called footy boffins on here who haven't had a go at this one, it is tough but give it a go!

Speaking as one of the older ones on here - (not sure if I'm a boffin though!) - the thing that puts me off playing this particular quiz is that a great many clubs have changed their grounds (or renamed them) from the ones we've grown up knowing them.

If I said Roker Park, Maine Road, Highfield Road, Belle Vue, Goldstone Ground, Manor Ground, Ayresome Park, Baseball Ground, Victoria Ground, Elm Park, Springfield Park, Manor Ground, The Dell, Boothferry Park, Filbert Street, Feethams, Gay Meadow, Millmoor, McCain Stadium, Leeds Road, The Den, Sealand Road, etc, etc - not only would many people my age not only know which teams played there - they had probably seen Bolton play there as well!

I doubt I would know more than half of these particular clubs current grounds name without having to look them up.  One of the things about getting old I guess!
