Coyle is going to have a lot of rebuilding to do in the summer, the squad needs a shake up we looked poor again today especially in the second half.Al Habsi back in goal,CB to replace Cahill when the inevitable happens, new left and right backs,a quality central midfielder to play alongside Holden when he's fit and two new strikers. It may sound that i want a lot but the fact of the matter is if we don't bring in these new players it's going to be a long hard struggle next season.
I wonder what will happen with Al Habsi now that Wigan survived and he was their player of the season? They are bound to come in with an offer for him. I just hope we don't take the cash thinking he wasn't a first choice player for us and we have two keepers already.
I want a club to come in for Cahill but will it really happen? I think the club expected he would go in January but not a single offer was made for him. We need the money from his sale to strengthen the team. The striker positions worry me most. With Strurridge and Rodrigo heading back to their clubs after their loans have ended and Elmander (a waste of space anyway) leaving it only leaves us with Klasnic and Davies and if I was the manager neither would be in my first team plans.
It is a mess but at least the problems are clear to see after these last 10 matches.
