Is it just me or this there summat fishy going on ? Before Osama had even got chance to remove his turban and have his wicked  way with the first vestal virgin he happened upon there was something afoot at Sellafield.

We are led to believe that five Bangladeshi men from Romford in Essex hired a car and drove down to Sellafield Nuclear plant where they took photographs and video footage of the installation. Plod was quickly on the case and the ' tourists' were detained under the prevention of terrorism act. Their explanation that they were heading for a hiking holiday up Scafell didn't past muster when it was discovered that their Satnav was programmed from Romford directly to Sellafield.

Whilst Plod were applying the thumbscrews their colleagues in the Met were asked to give the ' tourists ' house the once over. Eye Witness accounts indicate that when Plod arrived at the address two Asian males decamped via the back door and escaped into the community at large.

Forty eight hours later we are told they have been released without charge. No names have been publicised and the whole matter has been brushed under the carpet.

There are some unanswered questions.

Who will be required to pay the excess car hire charges ?

After the car underwent a forensic examination will the car hire company be within their legal rights to bill the Plod for any valeting expenses incurred ?

Was the car returned with a full tank of petrol ?

I think the general public have a right to know.

Aslong as you're not on somebody elses private property you're entitled to film who or what you want.

Not true. The filming of minors in public places like playgrounds is strictly a no-no with Mr Plod. Likewise, filming up skirts in a shopping mall could lead to a charge of voyeurism in a public place.
