Announcement in the morning, but pretty obvious he's gone.

Curbishley anyone? Just been on MOTD and not really put his name forward for it, but hasn't denied it either. Just the man they need if you ask me.

Pompey were on the way down with Adams, I just hope they don't go on a long run now.

He wouldn't publicly say he wanted it but he has to be the front runner! Cant think of many others, maybe Roy Keane or Avram Grant.

I quite liked the way Adams came across on his interviews but he was given a thankless job - Portsmouth are in a finacial mess and have to sell.

I think I must be the only person who doesn't rate Curbishley.  He lost the plot at Charlton and was pushed out (due to respect for what he had done previously) before he was sacked.

Charlton never used to get any points in the second half of the season - have people forgotten that?

Did nothing at West Ham and went crazy with the transfers - massive squad in the end - most on big wages.

Grant's a good shout Maddy.

I think the Grant option could be taken but I don't know how he would handle a relegation battle.
