Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't he on loan at United from West Ham?

If he is, why is he allowed to play against them?!

No he's not.

Basically he his 'owned' not by a club but by his agent - and United have agreed a 2 year loan deal with him.

So he's free to play West Ham.

He is owned by Media Sports Investments (M.S.I.) (International fund of investors) http://www.mediasportsinvestments.com/

They also own:
Sebastián Domínguez
Javier Mascherano
Carlos Tevez
Carlos Alberto

Rafael Moura
Roger
Johnny Herrera

I knew thay owned Tevez but not the rest! So are all the above players only loaned to clubs because I thought that Mascherano & Carlos Alberto were owned by their clubs.

Mascherano did sign for Liverpool permanently, but I don't know who owns him.

That is what I am saying, does that not mean this company no longer owns him like they wont of they sell Tevez!
