After that is the market for shipments of winter, to update the lists with the transfers for the season of 2008/2009. No big surprises and noting that a declining market, the leading English clubs in the league transactions, having moved in total about 1,347 million Euros.

Note, however, the reduction in investment by the clubs in the Spanish and German leagues, passing through the first period of even a recession, from importing to exporting country, while the second is marked by restraint in spending on acquisitions, not getting big revenue with sales of players. Furthermore Italy and France have increased the amount spent on reinforcements.

We left him down on the total purchases and sales of players for league and figures in this busy season.

Country / League (Purchases - Sales) - Movement

England / Premier League (€ 835M - 512M €) - Euro 1,347 million
Spain / La Liga (€ 349M - 415M €) - 765 million Euros
Italy / Serie A (€ 492M - 291M €) - 783 million Euros
Germany / Bundesliga (€ 169M - 116M €) - 285 million Euros
France-Ligue 1 (€ 246M - 271M €) - 517 million Euros
Portugal / Premier League (€ 65m - € 79M) - 144 million Euros
Netherlands / Eredivisie (€ 89M - 121M €) - 210 million Euros

Note: Amounts may be updated at any time, depending on the values of transfers not disclosed.

Those numbers are regarding the total at the moment spent this season, counting with the summer transfer market and this winter transfer market (season 2008/2009)
