Bolton 3 - Tottenham 2

1 - 0 (Puygrenier 31’)
Mark Davies swings the ball in Sebastien Puygrenier rises to head past Cudicini for his first Bolton goal! Tottenham had everyone back behind the ball but the Frenchman was virtually unchallenged in the area.

2 - 0 (Davies 63')
Spurs don't clear the danger and a ball back into the box is flicked on by Puygrenier to Kevin Davies, and the new Bolton skipper controls with a great first touch and fires into the far top corner!

2 - 1 (Bent 73')
Time to eat those words as Chimbonda sets up aa goal for Darren Bent! The Frenchman was played in by Lennon and he squared a ball to give Bent the easiest

2 - 2 (Bent 75')
Incredible - Spurs have equalised! Chimbonda's cross is only cleared as far as Palacios, and Jaaskelainen can only parry the Honduran's shot into the path of Bent, who knocks a tidy finish through the keeper's legs! This game has been turned on its head!

3 - 2 (Davies 86')
GOAL!! Bolton have surely snatched the winner now! Again it's Tottenham's inability to defend set pieces that does for them - this time it's a corner that's is headed in at the near post by Kevin Davies for his second of the game!

i watched the game on a live stream and i must say we were awesome apart from the 5 minute spell where we conceded 2. Mark Davies looks very very special and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet himself and  Big Kev is just a legend and a very worthy skipper.

It was also very good to see Puygrenier get his first goal and he looked aware and commanding at the back along side Gary Cahill, who was an absolute rock today making numerous important blocks and tackles.

All in all it was a good performance and very promising. 1 downside was that Muamba and JLoyd looked very shakey, giving the ball away all to often Sad

Went to the Reebok and was impressed! First hour very solid defensively and attacked in numbers and offered a great threat but again we crumbled, conceded two goals and escaped in the end, but we deserved to! Good 3 points that hopefully we can build on.

Mark Davies was very impressive, reminded me of an on-form Danny Guthrie, Kev Davies reacted well and now has 3 goals in 2 games - but he is not a captain! After the Spurs goals went in he just walked back to the centre circle, no talking and no motivation! Depsite what anyone thinks of Nolan he was a leader and a mouth on and off the pitch and that needs replacing. Also I do not rate Makukula, whether he is unfit or not I don't know but he has no pace, doesn't get involved and has offered no goal threat!

Overall very impressed just them two issues; Nolan replacement and defensive problems at times!

If he keeps playing like that, I'd be happy to keep Mark Davies in the side. I agree with everybody that his style is very similar to Guthrie's. Hopefully he'll provide us with more of an end product than Guthrie did.

As for K Davies being skipper, good choice. Stuck his head in today and chased all the lost causes, capped by two goals. Great finish for the first one!

Yeah, I was always very confident that after we had got through playing all those games against United, Liverpool, Chelsea, etc, that we would start to pick up points - and we are.

I watched the end of the match looking through a pub window watching the BBC1 Ray Subbs teletext thingy, whilst I parked my daughter in Cyber Candy next door.

The very first thing that came up was Bent's goal making it 2-2.  Then I later saw we had been 2-0 and I was thinking not again.

I went checking on my baby a came back just in time for us to go 3-2 up!!!

Again I went back to check on my daughter and got back just in time for the result - fantastic!!

I might not get to very many matches these days but I'm still as daft as a brush and try to find out the results no matter wherever I am!

Just about thawed out from the Reebok yesterday. It was a good result with a lot of positives to come from the game. Super Kev played his heart out and I must say deserves the captaincy.
Puygrenier looked solid at the back and teamed up with Cahill well. Mark Davis looked like he has bags of quality.
The only area we looked susceptible was at left back, with Samual getting exposed on a few occasions in the second half against Lennon and that dirty ex Wiganer Chimbonda
