Up until now ive been patient with him but today is the final straw. Useless negative tactics, pathetic subs ie bringing on mccann instead of someone ATTACKING (new word for you there gary) and putting joey o', who should have started, at left back when matty taylor, already on the field, is a bloody left back, why not bring on stelios and keep a similar shape with players in recognised posistions. Also sticking every single man back for any corners, really is pointless, someone needs to teach him how too counter attack, an no gary, using kevin davies as your counter attacking option really doesnt work.

I thought football was bad under allardyce but my god, this clown has found so many ways to make it much worse.

Finally, i hope that with campo havin a strop today that we dont have to ever watch him play again as he an absolute liability who no longers offers anything to the team.

Reading over it again i realise it was a little bit knee-jerk, getting rid of him at this stage would be plain stupidity but if we are to stay up he really does need to change it round and im sticking by what i said about campo, call it a day please lad.

Getting rid of the manager now would be suicide in my opinion. As much as i agree Megson is an average manager at best, it isn't all his fault.

I still think that with a decent replacement for Anelka we wouldn't be in the mess we are in now and if anybody sold our best striker, it was the chairman. Gartside has sold us short and is always out for the cheapest option.

A lot of changes need to be made in the summer, regardless of what league we'll be playing in next season.

I've got a few questions for people who want Megson out. Once they are answered with enough decency, then I'll give you my respect (which is hard to get  Wink )

What benefit does chopping and changing managers bring? Look at Newcastle.

Who would you bring in as a replacement?

Don't you think it is the players that are causing the problems?

We are never going to get a top-class manager, because we're not a big club and we don't have the financial resource or attraction to bring in a big name. We were always going to get someone average.

To be honest, I don't think Gary Megson has done much wrong. He brought stability to the club when he took over, he cleaned up a lot of mess that Sammy Lee created, and he's shipped out a lot of shíte i.e. Gerald Cid and Wilhelmsson, and made some excellent signings.

The only thing I don't agree with him on is his constant selection of Campo and Rasiak, whom of which I feel are both piss-poor players, that both need to go.

I dont want to be chopping and changing managers, i want a manager who i feel can offer us success as some point, Megson, IMO, cannot do this. He is a manager who'd be content with finishing 17th every season playing boring, long ball, negative and most of all uneffective football. At least under allardyce it worked.

Who would you bring in as a replacement?

Id be looking to get someone who wants to achieve. A young manager maybe still learning. Id love Phil Brown even though he's at a more successful club now so thats not happening. Im not gonna beg for a manager who looks to get the ball down and play, thats what went wrong for Sammy Lee, id just like a manager who has his own tactics and applies them effectivly. Atm Megson is using Allardyce's tactices without any success.

Don't you think it is the players that are causing the problems?

Of course the players have to take some responsibility but its up to the manager to motivate these  players and get them playing to the best of their abilities. Id say we have more quality in our squad than say wigan or birmingham yet these managers are able to get these players to give their all and pull them away from the drop zone. When a manager comes out and denies any backroom rift you always become suspicious and making Campo captain, to me stunk of Megson trying to get Campo back on side. We were warned by Megsons former teams that he often causes unrest amongst his players and i think we're starting to see this. This cant be the players fault if it is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened to teams under Megson.

We are never going to get a top-class manager, because we're not a big club and we don't have the financial resource or attraction to bring in a big name. We were always going to get someone average.

Do you not think that carrying on with Campo shows a lack of amibition when we have alot of options in the reserves and on the bench, he's going for what he thinks is the safe option even though he's the only one who doesnt realise that he's crap. Or maybe Campo is popular in the dressing room so he feels that if he drops him then the players would turn against him so he backing down to player pressure. The same happened to Sammy Lee and looked what happened there. Worked wonders eh?

We should wait until the end of the season, see what happens, then get rid of him, even if we stay up, because lets be honest, we're not getting back in europe with him in charge.

Instead of the reasons i gave in my earlier post ive now got a very simple reason based on the last 2 games. The man is completly clueless. Tacticly inept, unbelievably unispirining and most of he all he's shite!

I'm not on the Megson cheerleading squad right now either but getting rid of him now would be a terrible idea but I agree that something must be done.

I loved the fact that he was able to get Matty Taylor but we need a goal scorer.

Now, I love Kevin Davies and not because I'm a girl but because of the work he puts in for his club and for his ability to share that ball but he's not our goal scorer.  He should be and he wants to be but he's not and that's ok.  But we need someone who can get that ball in the back of the net.

It's sad but true.  We are a one goal team.  I know we don't want to be that team but we are right now.

I think I've strayed but I just wanted a bit of a chat.
