Oh, I can think of at least one other and others who are still here but have complained to me about it.
The thing though is it a mods job to say what can and can't be said on an open forum (as long as it is the right side of the law)?
I tried to be as open as I can at one time but the racist and homophobic remarks swept in and made put an end to that.
Some people imo need to be 'protected' a bit more than other people because they seem to be too naieve (or stupid) to look after themselves on a public forum - but the rest (again imo) should be able to give as good as they get.
At the end of the day though any forum is only as good as the posters who post on it - it may be fun to rip the piss out of folks - but what do you do when they have all buggered off and there is no one left to do it too?
There needs to be a balance and sometimes people simply need to think - ok, the jokes gone on long enough, time to let it go and move on.
I don't want to kill the humour on here - nor do I want the humour to kill the forum either.
You're all grown up - so the majority of the time I leave it up to people to moderate themselves.
It's up to you how much you want to the forum to be lively and funny because you're the one's who suffer when it becomes as dead as Bolton Banter and other non active BWFC forums.

Since I returned from New York this forum seems to have a similar spine running through each thread - Dave, Magoo and now Sharps throwing gay insults at each other.
While it's obviously the rantings of three blokes not getting any, it is very boring for the rest of us.
