I would've said something similar but there has been a complaint about me making 'radio' comments.

I thought they were taking the piss last night when they started banging on about it being the best goal ever scored at Old Trafford, but they've gone overboard today: they're actually discussing on SSN whether it's now the best goal ever scored.
It was a lucky goal FFS. One of those that can (usually does!) go anywhere.

The Rivaldo goal for Barca against Valencia in 99 I think it was, is so much better.

There are loads better than rooneys on saturday but (what has been said) becuase it was united and rooney in the manc derby which ''could'' have won them the title it is automatically the goal of the season. IMO Elmanders against Wolves is still up there for the goal of the season, if Rooney had done the same on Saturday you would seeing it on Sky for the next 20 years.

Elmanders goal didn't even get goal of the month because of a berbatov tap in.
so i think we can rule that one out.

fcúk's me off how anything those cúnt's do is automatically the greatest thing of all time, I hate that stupid goal of the week thing Sky do as it is just open season for all glory hunting Munich bastards who have never seen old trafford without a television to vote for any half average goal. No Bolton goal will ever be goal of the season FACT. I think history will be re-written and 200 years from now Whiskey Nose will be credited as inventing the game.

If Elmander scored that overhead kick goal, and Rooney scored the goal Elmander did against Wolves, there would be no debate which was better. Rooney's goal against Wolves.
Because Rooney did the overhead kick, it somehow overrates it a million times over. If anything, it should underrate it compared to someone shíte doing it because Rooney's meant to be one of the best players about.
It was a very good goal, but all this talk about Rooney's best goal, goal of the season, best goal ever scored at Old Trafford is a load of bullshit and media hype. His goal against Newcastle a few seasons ago was miles better for a start.
People expect him to just suddenly come back to form now too, he'll carry on being shíte, just like he has been all season. Doesn't deserve his place on merit anyway, Javier Hernandez should be starting up front with Berbatov.

To be honest I thought it was pretty shite of Fergie to just drop his leading goal scorer for some over hyped scouser who up until that point did sweet FA.

Elmanders goal was better than Rooney's; that doesn't stop Rooney's goal from being pretty good. Fergie is a cúnt.
