I think Megson is an average manager, but he's never going to bring Bolton any form of Glory that we all but dream about. The best he can do for Bolton IMO, is make us back into a Yo-yo football club.
And Gartside doesn't like taking his hands out of his pockets. Not for a second. When we splashed out £8m on Anelka, I nearly choked on my brew when reading the paper. We've spent what we earned from the sale of Anelka (well, there abouts...) Yet no joy in front of goal, and no joy defending the goal. A few missing links...

IMO Gartside gets alot more stick than his due, he his actually a very good chairman who doesnt butt in on the football side of things, lets a manager build a team and a backroom staff that they want and at times has shown that he is willing to back his managers, although id like to see him do that more.

However re. Megson i agree. In fact, describing him as average is a complement to him. Apart from the little hooneymoon period when we hit some form he has shown himself as a negative manager who isnt able to motivate the players for the important games, its all very well getting them fired up for the big games but games like sunday are much more important.

Although something needs to be done in the summer, they've got to stay for now. Any changes at this time would be suicidal and any hopes of staying in the Premier League would go in a shot.
