Something that the channel 5 commentator said really stood out to me. He needs telling where to go by everyone else on the team. He has no footballing brain. He has the ability im sure but he always looks lacking in confidence and confused about what he should be doing. In pre season he was in excellent form so maybe a sammy lee type manager was what he needed, but if he can only play under one type of manager he really shouldnt be playing at the highest level of football.

Just like the Lita thread, more old news. Vaz Te said he'd like to play for Sporting before the season even started. He's from Lisbon so of course he'd want to play for them.

As for not having a football brain, you only have to look at his form in pre-season. He played upfront, but then on the opening day he played out wide and got injured. In Lisbon he played out wide again and was out of the game. If we're ever going to get any success out of him, he needs to play up top where he'll score goals and not out on the wing.

I know what it is!

I'm just saying, it's old news. Of course he'd want to play for his hometown team, who wouldn't. It's just because we've played them, one little quote means the press can have a field day trying to sell our players.
