Clueless fucker, so far out of touch: typical of this unwanted bastard child coalition government we've had foisted upon us.
You're the clueless fcuker....it's true that British people have never had it so good. Just because some people can't afford a third car or house in the country they seem to be under the impression they're badly done to. Look at all the scrubbers living the life of riley on benefits....a few decades ago these workshy tossers would literally have been out on the streets sifting through the trash for food. The truth is British people have never been so well off.

The Tories have only been in 6 months and have already cut benefits for many people. It hasn't been reported in the press much but the biggest area they have already cut payments in is housing benefit both for people renting and paying mortgages. Life was more comfortable for the less fortunate before the Tories got in.

So what about the working class people who are trying to get a foot on the property ladder etc? Penalised through constant fcúk ups by the banks, then the government. Utter bollocks Tash.

So people have a few quid less in their pockets, big deal. Not so many decades ago people were struggling to put food on the table, there was no government to bail them out with benefits. If they didn't have money they starved. It was that simple. In the big scheme of things people nowadays are better off than ever.

So Lord Young has resigned from his post over his "people have never had it better " comments after Cameron put pressure on him.
It wouldn't surprise me if it was all a charade set up by the Tories to make Cameron appear caring on one hand while cutting benefit for the poor on the other.

Benefits were too high. And too many of these "poor" people were choosing to live on benefits because they didn't want to work.
The truth is that if you don't work you should be bloody poor....it's the way the world goes round.

Because it's all about image...people who speak the truth in plain English don't make good MP's in the mind of any Prime Minister. I'd scrap benefits for everyone except the disabled and pensioners.....that would soon get people back to work.

A fairly broad brush fishing statement, but I would tend to agree with it's sentiment. Even most people on lower incomes are not without luxuries like xbox's and have spare money for ale. That, in my eyes, is not poverty. Poverty is when you can't afford to put food infront of your family. Folk are exposed to immense wealth constantly by the media and feel hard done to when they feel the 'pinch'. This country needs to man up and stop being so spineless. If it is this bad now, I dread to think what the next generations who have been glued to an xbox and brought up on Iceland ready meals will be like. Cameron's a spineless fúcker pandering to the press like that.

I'm with Squidge and Nat on this one. Politicians love to talk about poor families as though there are kids still going down the pit and running around with scurvy. Today's benefit system means that if people prioritise their spending there should be enough to survive on. People in wartime had much less to live on than this lot of scroungers who think the world owes them everything.
Couple of weeks ago I had to make a work visit to an address in what is considered a poorer part of Manchester. Three kids each watching this 32 inch flat screen and all were showing me their latest computer games gadget. I counted four pets in the house and enough empty fag packets lying about to fill a wheelie bin. The family were on benefits and the weekly money probably ran out on Sunday after collecting it on Thursday, not because they didn't get enough, more likely because they were just blowing it on rubbish knowing someone else would bale them out.

Yes, because everyone on benefits lives like that. You haven't a clue. The fact that you're aligning yourself with the likes of Natasha and Squidgy should speak volumes.

Take away the disabled and a good percentage live exactly like that. When you are on benefits you should have enough to feed your family and keep a roof over your head - nothing more. Why should someone on benefits be able to "earn" as much as a working person? Traf, it's the bleeding hearts brigade like your good self that has turned this country soft.

I had a spell of about 16 months on benefits a few years ago and I don't pretend it's easy. For the first few weeks until reality set in we carried on as always- pub nights, takeaways, football tickets etc. Eventually we had to work to a sensible budget, gave up the junk stuff, stopped going to BWFC for a while and bought our food at the Bolton markets, cheaper cuts of meat, fish and veggies. The kids probably ate better then. We didn't starve, kids were dressed ok but we had to learn to properly manage our weekly money. My point is, too many on low pay or benefits try to live like millionaires and end up in the shite.
