So off to the DW it is on Saturday.

A game I think we should definitely looking at 3 points from, especially with Al-Habsi not able to play, he's been arguably their best player this season.

We're probably going to be looking at the same starting XI again I would presume.

And finally, I hope there's a big following of Bolton there, only down the road and only £20 a ticket.

Come on you Whites!

Bolton should win this one. So we'll lose. Guaranteed.

This reason aside I can't see any plausible thing to predict anything other than a Bolton win. Wigan have been dreadful this season, and look prime to take the plunge this year. I can't remember the last time we battered someone on their own patch and I have a feeling this game could be the one.

Wigan 1-4 Bolton, Elmander first goal. 19,253, 2,500 from us.

I reckon we'll take more than that this time round, reckon 3,000-3,500. Wigan have been struggling to get 10,000 so I think it'll be nearer 15,000-16,000.

We'll shíte 'em.

3 or 4 - 1: we still have to concede pretty much every game.

2-1 to the wanderers, I'd like to say 2-0 but we seem to be unable to keep a clean sheet. Elmander and Holden to score

Agreed. We're always crap at Wigan but hopefully we can come away with the points for once.

An unusually optimistic 4-1 for me.

I'm liking the fact Al Habsi is not able to play too.

1-3

                      Elmander
                      Elmander
                      Elmander

I'll be amazed if we don't win, not being biased, if I was a neutral, I'd think Bolton win all day, Elmander will be too much.

Elmander hat-trick? That would get a decent return from a fiver.

We ain't had one for a while, Elmander is the away day super striker atm, he'll have chances, no doubt. If it isn't him, we'll score more than twice anyway.

It's whether he can take them all though, but you will get long odds on it. In fact apart from Bobic I can't remember any hattricks...

We are due one, I think the closest someone has come was Anelka against Wigan at the Reebok, he scored twice and also missed a penalty. As long as we can keep N'Zogbia quiet, I can't see much threat from them.

I think Wigan will be 2 up very early on and we'll huff and puff and maybe get 1 back.

can't remember what i predicted but i've got less confident as the weeks worn on.

Can someone explain why everyone thinks we will stuff Wigan on their own ground?

My reason is mainly because I called it at the start of the season. I wasn't sure about a few things this season but two of them I was confident about was that we would be much-improved, and that Wigan would be on a collision-course with the Championship. I haven't seen a lot to convince me either ideas are wrong yet.

It's been such a long time since we've had a really confident away win - particularly in a derby - and with Wigan also being forced to play without al-Habsi, they really don't have an awful lot in my opinion. I did think I would be alone in the thought of battering them at their place but a few more agree with me it seems.

We might be wrong but there isn't another away game we could get away with predicting this kind of result with the exception of maybe Blackpool - and the last time we played Wigan we did beat them 4-0.

And yet they lie just two points behind us in the table and won at White Hart Lane. Too many people are basing their opinion on Wigan's first two games where they were trounced.

Mark my words, draw at best.
