Which do you prefer(if either)

It's all kicking off on twitter when Robbie Savage made some comments about Talksport being crap in particular Darren Gough- critisism which IMO is spot on- Darren Gough knows no more about football than the typical bloke at the pub who thinks he knows it all but talks shite.

606 can be good. I do rate Savage as a presenter for pulling no punches, Alan Green I do not like and do not rate at all as a pundit. People like Spoony are jokers who have no business on a football radio show.

Talksport I prefer persoanlly. Hawksbee and Jacobs are fairly entertaining. I like Adrian Durham despite him being a nob with no consistency to his opinions. He simply picks the controversial line that will get most people calling in- which at the end of the day is his job.

As I've said, I think Gough is poor. Hate the self proclaimed "Essex boy who loves Man Utd" who is actually from Bolton Ronnie Irani. And there are a few others who grate on me. I don't like Ray Houghton at all.

Although I must say I think for all the criticisms you could throw against him- Collymore actually runs a really good show with Danny Kelly- one of the best sport related shows on radio at the moment.

Talksport wins it for me. I prefer all the jokey tabloid style stuff they do- all the funny jingles and songs stuff like that in comparison to 606 which is quite rigid and boring much like BBC's TV flagship of Match of the Day. Talksport at least tries to be a little more edgy for entertainment purposes.

If you want an idea of what Savage has been saying- have a look at his twitter page, he's gotten into a slanging match with Andy Goldstein. Savage put "mate your just a soccer am reject 1 season wonder do one" and Goldstein replied by saying how does it feel to be a United reject. Even Massimo Taibi got 4 caps.

Radio should be left for those who drive and people who go out of there way to listen to the radio want to have a long look at themselves.

I think that's the stock response for basically anything thats said on the forum.

Anyone who Likes/enjoys/watches/listens to/thinks {delete as applicable} {insert topic} needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

What is the fcuking point? Any music you could possibly want to listen to can be downloaded or bought thus making the point of sitting at home listening to songs you dont like pointless and if you wanted to know about the news, just stick Sky News.

Radio in the home is about as useful as Steven Hawkings penis.

I thought you were going to say it was because some of the programmes on Radio 4 would be well above your spastic conprehension.
My mistake. Grin

Talksport is utter shite, radio for chavs and the uneducated. Half the presenters shouldn't be anywhere near a microphone.

Five Live has some wankers (Alan Green being the biggest) but they do have Danny Baker who is a genius and Robbie Savage who at least speaks his mind.

Natasha is spot on. Talksport is only for morons who can't read. Adrian Durham is one of the most clueless morons there ever has been.

Robbie Savage is excellent, and is someone who has actually played the game.

I don't listen to either of them, talksport especially which is the most pointless sports radio station known to man, half of it is the presenters talking through there arse and the rest is random adverts.

As for Robbie Savage I have only seen him on MOTD2 and he talks a lot of sense, you can tell he has played the game at the highest level unlike most so called experts you see on tv.

I do listen to talksport a few times a week.

I tend to find the BBC version a bit up it's own arse (although will listen for live match coverage on occaision) and fooking hate that condescending  manc lover Alan Green.

Alan Brazil has to be the highlight for me on Talksport, although his no mark Bolton-cum-Essex manc loving co-presenter is robbing a living. He also played cricket, which makes him less of a man in my eyes.

Unfortunately yes but hopefully in a couple of years time, with Coyle in charge; the fans and the media's perception of us will change as we are playing much better football. It will take time; Sunflowers don't grow in a day.
