Tripe, Pigs feet, Brawn - good job they didn't have mad cow's disease when I was a nipper.

Anybody else remember the UCP shops?

Make like the FA and fine her for a nuisance appeal.

I think a week ban wouldn't be out of order.

One extra extra large gobstopper coming Squidgy's way

I rarely eat meat these days

Wise.  It's not natural to eat meat all the time, excess of anything is bad and i believe the limit for meat is about twice a week.  Science shows that the more meat we eat, the sicker we get: heart disease, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, and every other major degenerative disease can be linked to a diet containing excess meat.
I supplement my protein intake with fish, beans, lentils and seeds, and when I'm training I use whey protein to enhance that further.
i have a great body and am extremely healthy, body and mind; I've visited my GP once in the past several years and that was only because a girl thought I'd got her pregnant.

I agree with most of this too.. I could easily do without meat but I typically will have chicken or beef 1-2x per week, with most of the rest of the time eating legumes, vegetables, fruits and grains.  Trying to eat less dairy too but I do love plain yogurt with my fruit in the mornings.

To add to the topic, my favorite childhood food was definitely cinnamon toast!  Delicious warm toast, butter, cinnamon and brown sugar.  Its one of those things I would still love but haven't bothered to make in ages.

When I was little, sugar butties, milk pudding, and a mix of cocoa powder and sugar were all cheap/free "treats" my mum gave us.

I miss a lot of the home made foods that we were served.  No frozen or vacuum-packed foods back then.  Everything was made from scratch.  My mum's rice pudding was to die for.  She also made a cheese on toast to die for; made with Lancashire's best melted in a pan with butter and (possibly) and egg) and then put on the toast and then put under the grill.  Yum!

I love and really miss black peas.
