I thought I would give it a go on the advice of my work colleague who said "it is a whole new level of tasty"

It was actually one of the worst tastes I have ever experienced. Reminds me of them crappy crunchy little chips you sometimes get left over on a chip buttie.

No one likes these things surely?

You can buy them in Asda for a limited time.

Along with fish finger butties as well.

I do love a crisp butty on the odd occasion. 2 pieces of warbies milk roll, a packet of walkers salt and vinegar.
The simple pleasures are sometimes the best.

I think crisp should be added to another sandwich filler.

On the subject of food, I once worked with a guy who use to dip bananas in pot noodles. He was a strange fellow.

I don't put butter on a sandwich, but I have it on toast.

It really is no wonder that British food is maligned and mocked over every square inch of the world.

And yet not one Brit bar Jamie Oliver gives a toss.

I'm sorry to have offended your delicate sensibilities Wink  I must try this bread-potato-potato-bread-potato combination.. Sounds tantalizing!

fried potato bread with heinz beans and  hb brown sauce is the business....also a good hangover cure.

toasted potato bread with flora and sugar on it makes a nice treat every now again, it takes me back to my childhood.
