There is probably such a thing as internet prodding and fishing.
When people knowingly go out of their way to wind another poster up by saying stuff about them (ala Amos) but if that person can't hack it or feels bullied then the solution is pretty simple. Hovver over the red x in the top right hand corner and click it.
If anyone feels bullied, depressed or suicidal about stuff people say on the internet(when they've never met the person/people giving it out- and probably never will meet them) and they don't simply turn off the PC and keep coming back- then they are just asking for it/attention seeking.

I don't agree Jimbo.
Why should one poster have to leave a site because only four or five other people out of say 50 regular posters take against him?
As far as I can see this (and the Amos thing) was just a wind up that went too far because the person on the receiving end didn't know how to deal with it.
Many on here gets stick sooner or later but most either give it back, ignore it or laugh at it - it's when people show it bothers them that the 'teasing' goes on - but once it goes on too far then perhaps it no longer is teasing but becomes bullying?
Anyway I hope that a line as been drawn under it now and that we can all move on.

If people can't handle namecalling on the internet, then they shouldn't join up on forums etc period.
Just laugh it off or alternatively laugh at the person who has gone out of their way to abuse you.

I would have thought Internet bullying is more of an issue on sites where your real identity is used facebook etc than on sites like this where you can just stop logging on.
I know on here when Natasha is begging me to go to bed with her she doesn't really mean it but if she did the same on facebook I would be terrified.
