Mine was deciding not to carry on with football at 16. I thought I wouldn't have enough time to go to training, matches due to work commitments, AAT courses, travelling etc.
I wanted to get all of my qualifications done and dusted; I thought maybe football would be a distraction / added pressure to that.
It may well have been and I might not have passed the course if I did carry on; but looking back, I still wish I had kept going.

That's life I guess!

So, is there one thing you regret not doing?

Are you trying to suggest you were the next Ronaldo but gave it up to be an Accountant?

Haha nah. I was more of a midfield engine Natasha than a trickster.

I don't believe anyone would give up football to be an Accountant. I suspect this is a lie.

I decided to take the bull by the horns rather than go to college. And yes it was a tough choice to pack it in...

I regret not going away to a faraway uni, and always will. Bolton University is rubbish, and I know of at least one other person on here who can agree with that.

I played from 10 years old up until university for Atherton Town but I packed it in for squash, probably fitting for this thread because I wish I hadn't stopped.

I regret not buying my girlfriend something for valentines day when I was 17.  I was a bit skint and decided to dump her instead.

She was a cracking shag with fantastic tits.

What a fcuking cretin I was.

Sounds like he was the one that got away.

It's a shame when that happens. I think we should get a whip-round on the go, Jen only cost £1000 a night.

As one of the youth today, can you tell me what 10 bob's going to cost me? I feel it'd be a worthwhile part of my wage.
