Harry Redknapp should be given a full nelson. I don't want him representing England as the manager. Personally I would go for someone like Shearer / Beckham to unite the nation again.

Your a fcuking moron then, None have the managerial experiance to manage England so why would somebody with about 20 plus years managerial experiance not be good enough.

Because he is a tax dodging wanker. I would rather have someone who at least plays by the rules, representing our country.

Redknapp is the only manager good enough for the job if we choose an English coach, regardless of the allegations about his private life.

You cant even prove that, it isnt like he has been charged unlike Arsene Wenger for fingering that 8 year old from Deane.

How is he good enough? He's only ever done well when he's spent wads of cash - something that he won't be able to do for England. Plus most of his career he's fought relegation battles.

He'll only get it because of the relationship he has with the meejar.

We shall see. He will never been given the England job whilst the charges are hanging over his head.

I think Beckham would be many fans preferred choice mainly 'cos on his cult status and his passion, but he doesn't want to manage.

Harry Redknapp or go foreign for me.

Regardless of the money he has spent, he is the best English manager for the job. He gets the players performing to the best of their ability, which is surely what you want from a national coach? As for most of his career fighting relegation battles, when? He got West 'Am finishing towards the top of the table; he got promoted with Pompey first time round and got them midtable; he got relegated with Southampton I'll give you that; he kept Pompey up when he returned  to them, midway through the season, and then kept them midtable. Then he got Spurs into the CL which is more than any other candidate has managed, regardles sof the money spent. The only times he has been involved in releagtion battles is when the club was already in trouble prior to his arrival.

Who else is there then?

I'd like Redknapp to have a go. Seems a decent, down to earth English bloke. Couldn't care less about any unproven allegations. May as well dig up Mother Theresa if all we want is someone of unblemished character. When she's got us to the World Cup finals perhaps Sharps could have a go at her?

Gary Megson?

Football people know why this is a good idea. Isn't Gartside on the FA board?

See how the meeja respond when he gets people in to 'put a shift in' - see if they're as pious when they're calling for his melon head.

Gavin McCann starting ahead of Barry and Gerrard in the middle, what's not to like?

He'd probably try and call Steinsson up too. The bell-end.
