In a change to what was advertised at the end of last season, the 'goal of the month' polls will remain on the forum and here is your first chance to vote this season.

Bolton scored six goals in August, five of which have been included in the vote. The first goal at West Ham is currently credited as an own goal so misses out.

So, from the five displayed in the poll, which is your favourite. The poll will close on Friday night.

Goals:
West Ham United 1-3 Bolton Wanderers
Goals: Elmander 2

Southampton 0-1 Bolton Wanderers
Goal: Klasnic

Bolton Wanderers 2-2 Birmingham City
Goals: K Davies (pen), Blake

Should you wish to view any of the goals again, visit the following website:

What the (apparently) Invisible one said. I can't see many picking the Davies "goal" at West Ham anyway to be honest. But as penalties go, his strike against Birmingham is a lesson in how a penalty should be taken. No keeper would have saved that.

Blake's perfect free-kick. As Danny said, no contest.

Oue 2nd goal against West Ham, it was an absolute wonderful  team goal, Cahill curled ball to the wing to Petrov, Petrov header down to Elmander with a back flick to Davies, Davies with a stunning scholes esk ball over to Lee, Lee with a superb driven cross and a bullet header from Elmander.

As good as Blake's freekick was, and it was marvellous, our team goal for me is the clear winner.

I've gone for Elmo's header also because it was a nice forward move with a couple of good passes to set it up..  Blake's was great too but only a close second.

Elmander header, for the pure reason he hadn't scored in ages.

It's a sad state of affairs when one of the choices is a penalty.

Ridiculous thread.

Has to be Elmander's header against the Spammers. Quality team move and a cracking finish to boot.

Enjoyed Elmander's header against the knobrots, he hung in the air for ages before nodding it in. However, I've gone for Blake's goal purely based on the context.

Davies with a stunning scholes esk ball over to Lee,
----

Don't let JayJay here you say that. Davies can't pass. You clearly weren't watching the game in the right way.

No need to pull a strop.

Just saying that a Goal of the Month is a waste of time as we score so few goals. Looking forward to the October competition already.

We've scored in three from four games, and scored more than we've conceded. Cheer up for Chrissake.

I'm very surprised that the Blake freekick has more votes than our team goal.

The secret is think of something that 90% of Bolton fans think, then write an argument stating the opposite.

Whenever I post I have the ability to think rationally, something your average Bolton fan cannot do.
