My Wiimote has packed in and although I have a spare it isn't synced.

Its the eldest's birthday this weekend and we have got him stuff for his wii, accessories etc.

Unfortunately as we cannot start his Wii due to the remote dying. I need a gamecube controller or similar that attaches to the Wii via a wire and need it urgent, just for an hour.

Has anyone got one?

Thanks.

Reset the Wii and start again from scratch and sync the spare to it.

Managed to get one from cash converter 4.99, cant complain.

As I have other stuff loaded on it I have a menu before the normal Wii menu.

Alas I have to navigate to the normal start up screen to sync the remotes.

You look like a cash converter customer Barry.

Why would anyone meet up on a forum to hand over a Wii remote? Hold on, we have got some weirdos on here...

Thats a bit of a twattish thing to say really.

If someone needs some help and I can provide that help then I will.  If that makes me a weirdo fair do's.

No Baz, there's a myriad of other reasons that make you a weirdo. Grin
P.S. It's a bit sad that Howfen finds is weird that anyone would help. I sort of pity him.

Hello, I'm Howfen off Burnden Aces, here's my Wii remote....

Couldn't you have just gone on eBay or to a shop for one in the first place?

Had I been in Barry's vicinity, I'd have gladly lent him my Wiimotes.

I know for a fact that he'd help a fellow poster where possible.

For the illiterate amongst us, it wasn't a Wiimote I needed.  As explained it was a Gamecube controller which ruled out Argos/Toys r Us/Supermarkets etc etc.

Ebay was a worst case scenario but that would have meant having it posted, which would mean my lad didn't get his birthday presents for another fortnight as that's how often I get him.

There were a couple of posters who had a look so thanks to those.

Think most people would help someone else out if they could and it was convenient for them to do so.

Hope your son enjoyed his birthday Barry.

I wasn't kidding, your a poncy little wanker who I imagine has learnt to keep his trap shut to avoid severe beatings on a daily occurrence, Barry is from a forum where it is much like a community and people do each other favours and he stupidly thought that pricks like you might want to lend him a hand.

I wouldn't worry about posting similar things in future Barry because somebody off here a few months back offered me the chance to use there season ticket for free so there are decent people on here who want to give follow wanderers a helping hand when required.

Where does the word hate appear in any of that?

It was a serious post it wasnt banter and there was no hate involved, if you was biting then fair enough you got me but I fail to see why somebody shouldnt want to ask for a favour.
