Firstly I know people will say why dont you go with O2 or Orange but with somebody with a credit rating as piss poor as mine T mobile was the only choice.
I took out the contract in May 2009 and it was for 18 months and after a few months the phone was dicking about and after sending it back it came back in exactly the same fucked up freezes constantly state, I couldnt be arsed sending it back again so I used me dads but he wanted it back about 6 weeks ago so I had no choice but to deal with them twats again.
Gets sent back today and low and behold it is exactly the same and still does not work. I ring them up to demand they replace the phone with a new one, they agree but then because I took the phone out through Carphone Warehouse, it means that T Mobile only have to fix it and cannot replace the handset.
Now I have to fanny about up horwich at some stupid repair centre to get it fixed.
Any help or similar experiances would be appreciated.

By going through carphone warehouse you effectively got the phone through them.
They set the phone up on T Mobile at a reduced rate (as they buy lots of contracts) and sell it to you at rrp.
What I suppose I'm saying is yes you do.
Also a thing to note when getting a contract for 18/24 months is that the phone only has a 12 month warranty.

The cause of phones freezing is usually down to the sim card slipping out of place. Best thing you can do is super glue the sim card in place. That should fix it.

Or water in the microphone. To dislodge it, shout down the phone as loud as you can whilst spinning round.

Ensure the super glue is on the metal bit though or it'll never stick.
& FTR, I'm with T Mobile. I don't fúck around with a fancy upgrade every 3 months, texting & speaking is quite enough now I'm a grown up. Anyhow, unlimited texts & calls for 15 notes a month. Bob on.
Oh & if you drove, it wouldn't be a ballache to to get to the Middlebrook.

I have heard too many horrific stories to live with that idiot.
So in hindsight you are all useless wankers with the usual unhelpful bollocks, I might put this on wanderersways because as perverted as they all seem they tend to give helpful advice when it is requested.
My phone is under warrentee for 2 years I have already checked.

its the manufacturers waranty that normally lasts 12 mths, but the phone company will normally honor the phone for the length of the contract, at least o2 did when i worked with them, around the time that i left though, they were only going to provide repair for blackberries and iphones for 12 mths, if anything happend after that then it was basically tough shíte!
with o2 of the handset was sent away for repair with the same fault within a set period of time, then the repair center would offer the customer a choice of new handset (always refurb which was a bit unfair) and they had a great way of getting out of this by saying that the phone was customer damaged in some way (normally water damage).
carphone warehouse are crap at customer service, there is no reason why they cant replace the handset for you as a goodwill gesture

What phone have you got Sharps?.....Maybe it's a fault on more than one of the phones when they were made.
Either way Carephone Warehous are terrible IMO, if your phone is still under its actual warranty then they should just swap it for a new one, or if they don't sell that phone anymore give you another phone on the same contract.
If you pay insurance on the phone then put in a claim saying you have lost it and if that works they will send you a new one.

Does anybody else have a gripe with T Mobile and want to go down to their HQ and burn it to the fcuking ground, carphone warehouse have had a go and they cannot fix it but they did say that they did not provide me with the phone so T Mobile are bullshitting again, I am determined to beat these wankers and that they give me a replacement phone.

No, as I said, I've been with Orange, Vodaphone & O2 & find T-Mobile the least tosserish of all.

If you're planning anything with Carphone warehouse, I'm in.
Bastards claimed that my warranty wasn't valid because of "consumer damage", then proceded to tell me that the circuit board inside the phone was bent - which is impossible to do without any external signs of damage.
I only took it in to get the keypad replaced, they broke it and refused to pay the warranty out. Bastards.

If you took the phone out with Carphone Warehouse then your issue is with them NOT T-Mobile. All T-Mobile provide is the line and the associated services. Go and burn down Carphone Warehouse I'm sure you'll have a queue of people willing to help!

What did you get from Carphone Warehouse then? You said you went there and did it "through them". Which usually means they supply the phone and give you the contract they have "bought" from T-Mobile. I've never heard of anyone going into Carphone Warehouse taking out a contract and then the supplier of the original contract dishing out a phone.
