Unfortunately folks it's not a great 'spy' this week for a couple of reasons. There isn't really a 'KUMB' style forum out there for Birmingham City, so I've had to dig around a few 'small' forums to try and piece a spy together for this week, but also their supporters are a lot less angry than the West Ham lot, even after they threw away a 2-goal lead against 10 men!

The first post during the game is a strange one. Why would the referee give a penalty AFTER giving a free kick?

Now there's something we agree on, that the referee was truly awful in the match. However, we thought he was bad because he was awarding everything to them, so what are they complaining about?

Considering they have just thrown the game away, they are in a pretty 'positive' mood:
We always get beat at Bolton so a point is a good result. Yes it's disappointing to blow a two goal lead, but they never looked like scoring apart from the odd set piece, and both fouls given for both goals were dubious - the ref seemed intent on levelling up for sending their keeper off, which was a clear red (and why wasn't it a penalty either).

Wouldn't say it's a mini league, out of the top 6 it's everyone else battling it out!
Take some positives - a point at Blunderland AND Bolton - both considered to be rivals in the mini league we are in, and both teams that beat us last year BUT NOT THIS YEAR.

Just found out we drew 2-2 with Bolton.
That puts us 2 points better off than against those same teams last season and we are now playing well.

Whilst I agree that both decisions were soft, I hope that Alex also acknowledges (privately, if nothing else) that it was a below-par performance by Blues for much of the game, considering that over half of it was played against ten men.
What a load of rubbish, he clearly gave more free kicks to them than us!
Ref was bolton-ist all game tbh. Our own fault for not pushing on amd putting the game away. Why keep 5 in midfield when they have 3?

Blackburn Bolton Blackpool they are all going to be thugs with big hearts.
Our friend bottled it and gave them the 2 goals in the end but that's football sometimes.
Good result better than last year. Davies is a handful and tied up at least 2 of our players all match.
And finally to cap it off, a bit of negativity!
I thought our display in the second half was pathetic. If we can't beat a Bolton side with 10 men after being 2 up then we are in for a very difficult time.
That's it unfortunately, all I could really find. I wouldn't like to see what they are like after a win if that's what they are like after throwing one away, it would be an even worse Spy!
At least we've got Man United and Arsenal coming up soon so I'm sure we'll be back to some cracking ones
